  • Here, the iconic ABBEY ROAD front cover once again has a deeper-blue sky and there is once more that slight yellowish hue to The Beatles' faces, much like on the original LP cover and the vinyl reissue from a few years ago (it's a photograph which captures a beautiful English summer's day frozen in what was perhaps a more innocent time)/5(2).
  • SOURCE: "The Beatles At The Beeb, Volume Seven" LP For a long time, this was the only song circulating from this historic performance. A complete tape of this show finally turned up on the "Roadrunner" CD, but it's from an inferior source tape (with noticeable bleed-through of unrelated material) and Paul's intro to this song is less complete.
  • As Capitol prepared to release the Beatles second album (With the Beatles in Britian, and Meet the Beatles in the U.S.), Vee Jay decided to release the Please Please Me album after all, and in early January , two different Beatles albums appeared in stores in .
  • Sep 23,  · "Bad To Me" was the song given away. This Lennon/McCartney tune was written mainly by John but the verses sounds (to me, anyway) very McCartneyesque. The demo can be found on both "Not For Sale" and "File Under:Beatles" on LP. It can also be found on CD under the titles "Vinyl To The Core" and "Acetates". Posted by Mr. Kite at PM. No.
  • Blank on the back. Cream-coloured labels with "File Under:" in bold type and underlined. "The Beatles" is not on the labels. Black vinyl. Attached to the front of the file folder/jacket with a standard paper clip is a " x " glossy photo which varies copy to copy. Also included is a 7" segment of 16mm film strip/5(4).
  • The disc is perfectly flat, with no pops/scratches and much less surface noise than the average new LP in my collection. I'm not a vinyl snob. I have lots of CDs and digital files on my iPhone, love listening on the go. Vinyl is more expensive and less convenient, so I only buy vinyl if there's good reason to believe the vinyl sounds better/5(4).

  • This is a collection of classic Beatles songs that sound excellent on the gm vinyl. It comes with some great songs such as Can't Buy Me Love, Help, Ticket to Ride and many more. It's a double LP gatefold album. Definitely worth a buy if you like The Beatles and want their best stuff on vinyl. Just need to get the blue album now!/5(1).
